Method for calculating the wear resistance of gear teeth of vehicle transmission

Abstract

The technique of calculation wear resistance of the teeth of bevel gears of vehicle transmission, if
the oil consist of abrasive particles, influencing to the process of wear of friction surfaces
involving abrasive particles, occurring after repeated deformation gears rolling and rolling with
slip, depending on the normal load in contact, shape of abrasive particles, depth of implantation
and crushing with elastic-plastic deformation of the surfaces of the teeth that are in mutual
contact.
