Fuzzy C -Means Clustering Based Neural Network Classification

Abstract

Decision making in complex situations is one of the most important and difficult tasks. Computer aided decision providing system assists the experts in various fields where classifiers play a vital role. Improving accuracy of the classifier will lead to better performance. This paper focuses on embedding Fuzzy C-means clustering on one of the state of the art classifier Neural network. In this work, a hybrid method is proposed and the same is tested using some of the benchmark datasets from UCI machine learning repository and the results are compared. The proposed method gives promising results.
