Abstract

As  the technology is  trending  towards the Internet of Things (IoT), the majority of the continuous monitoring applications have drifted from wired networks to wireless low power communications. This  technical paper deals with a simplified , facile  for  installing  microcontroller-based circuit to monitor  and record the temperature, moisture, light intensity and humidity with the help of sensors. The ZigBee innovation led to low power, cost effective method of data transmission for monitoring which is used to modify and control the Greenhouses and optimize them to achieve maximum plant growth and yield. With the help of ZigBee technology an approach was made to design and analyze the performance of a flexible Greenhouse monitoring wireless sensor module, based on general purpose microcontrollers and low power ZigBee communication modules. All these makes the proposed system to be an accurate in reading, economically more liable  and portable at a very  low maintenance solution for Greenhouse application
