Abstract

India having Over 1.3 Billion population is one of the highly populated country in the world and with the pandemic COVID 19 the risk is very high in spite of that  the No of cases are still less compared to some of the countries which are mostly effected by COVID 19, this is because of government measures and some other factors, but in recent days the cases start plunging up making the situation worse to avoid this problem prediction of the future cases helps a lot. Here we take the advantage of  ML techniques to predict the spread of COVID 19 in India, and forecast the total cases for next 15 days and here we use Linear Regression, Polynomial regression and Support vector machine as a ML modals over the datasets obtained from the Central Government portals and we optimize these modals using different evolutionary parameters like Mean square errors, rolling mean and standard deviation. The results obtained are promising
