IMPLEMENTATION OF SLUM SETTLEMENT REPAIR PROGRAMS IN INDONESIA (CASE IN BANDUNG DISTRICT)
Abstract
The main problem in this research is the Government Programs related to the improvement of slum areas requiring every Indonesian citizen to live physically and mentally well, live and have a good and healthy environment. However, these government programs that have been carried out have not touched the basic issues, especially community welfare. The results of the study show that, first, there is no unified role and institution among stakeholders. Second, the mechanism of work that has not yet been built. Third, the involvement of stakeholders in this program has not been optimal. Recommended research findings include: First, the importance of establishing local regulations or regulations related to the implementation of a slum area improvement program; Second, collaboration of actors implementing improvements to slums in the pentahelix model.
