Abstract

The research work aims to enhance the open-circuit voltage and analyze the uniform distribution of Calcium Titanium Oxide coated magnesium- titanium dioxide hybrid solar cell. The Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) glass is used to fabricate the solar cell. Titanium Dioxide is applied on ITO glass and Magnesium is applied on another ITO glass, both glasses are joint together using redox solution which acts an electron transferring medium. Anti Reflection (AR) coating material is Calcium Titanium Oxide, which is applied on the top of the solar cell by using sputter coating technique. Sputter coating technique need pallet in prescribed dimension. The powder form AR coating material was palletized by using Universal Testing Machine. The morphological and characterization is analyzed by FESEM technique. Open-circuit voltage test analysis is carried out in solar simulator. Fabricated solar simulator is consist of Neodyum Daylight lamp, Infra Red thermometer, solar power meter and multimeter. Overall open-circuit voltage difference is recorded as10.7% compared with bare solar cell.
