Abstract

During this decade, Blockchain has been in the limelight in order to achieve effective security and privacy aspects in various domains. As the technological advancements are expanding in a swift manner, it is critical to maintain efficient transactions among the consumers and financial institutions due to various cybercrimes being held in the recent times. This has paved the path for blockchain technologies to venture into different fields. In this article, firstly, blockchain is described with its necessity. Secondly, it details about the different types of blockchain technologies. Thirdly, discusses the applications of blockchain technology in public and private sectors, namely, health, banking, industry and so on.
