Abstract

Smart city concept has been adopted to improve the delivery of services in rural and urban areas. This can be achieved through the implementation of aids and services using Internet of Things (IoT). The demand for water usage is day by day increasing exponentially with the growth of population and the industrial expansions. The need arises to implement an automated water management in effective way by adopting the new devices and technologies. In this paper we have addressed the Smart city based automated water management system in order to facilitate the need of new techniques and the implementation is ensured with safety and secure way of deploying the devices without human interventions. This paper is mainly focusing on control and monitoring of water distribution system. This ensures the feasible distribution of water with advanced technological network components.
