Abstract

It has been known that human resources as the most valuable for the company and become a valuable asset to have and influence the increase in the company’s profit. However, we need to have selective human resources that can align with the company’s rule and guidance. In this case, we need to measure human resource performance by using technology. Performance appraisal is carried out to determine the achievements which are achieved by each employee. But in reality, many assessments are still not objective and fair, so it is needed to make a Decision Support System by setting performance evaluation criteria. Using technology such as Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) algorithm/method is our proposed idea which can help decision-maker management to weigh their employee’s performance. The employee’s performance is measured with four criteria such as Attendance, Target Achievement, Report Deadline, and Work Performance. The results of this paper showed there are high-performance employees and low-performing employees. This becomes an alternative for decision-makers to further evaluate the low-performing employees and give rewards for the high-performance employees. Running SAW method shows that the employees have 72.7% performance with a total score of 4.36 out of 6.
