Abstract

The socioeconomic growth of a country depends upon human resources. So producing skilled human resources of a largely populated country is a challenge if the parents of the students could not afford to pay their tuition fee. Keeping in view the economic status and the caste under- representation, financial assistance through public funding is being provided through various financial assistance schemes with different sets of eligibility conditions of the TVET students. Throughout India in almost all the states large number of students seek financial assistance every intake and the number doubles up with returning students. Such students generate large amounts of data consisting of admissions, scholarships, grades, assignments, testing and results. Such data require lot of security, integrity, scalability and reliability. Analyses of data which increase every year always remained a challenge for policy-makers. In this paper a new dynamic data base model is suggested using open source Big Data technology, which addresses all such issues. With the advancements of information technology and availability of faster internet this model is easy to use through any of the intelligent devices like mobile phones. Design and implementation of the new model is discussed which is useful for all the states across the country.
