External Quality Gradingof Apple using Deep learning

Abstract

Apple grading is a very essential process in market right now. So in order to accelerate the process we need to have automation. In this paper classification of apple is done on the basis of color and shape. Firstly the images of apple are used with 3 grades. These images are then feeded into CNN where the classification is done in the basis of color and shape. The results in this paper shows classification accuracy rate of 97%.
