DESIGN AND FABIRICATION OF BIO-METRIC VOTING SYSTEM

Abstract

India being the largest democratic country in the world faces two problems i.e transparency and accountability of votes. In this prototype we tried to address this two problems. India following the ballot system, it is hard to know what is going behind the screen and there is a chance of votes tampering. To avoid this tampering of votes, this prototype is installed with high end security system consisting of biometric verification and OTP verification. The details of the voters can be entered into the data base which act as an source authority for verification. Once the details have been verified then the voters can proceed to cast their votes and they can verify their votes to whom they have casted. Thus transparency and accountability can be achieved.
