  • Saeed Mousa

Abstract

In the 21st century, every phenomenon, particularly those contradicting traditional values and practices, is subject to criticism, skepticism and social rejection in the beginning and goes through periods of apprehension and confusion before making its way as an acceptable and beneficial part of daily life. Digital transformation is no exception. As the gap of this study is the relationship between social innovation and Industry 4.0, the paper seeks to define the practice of Industry 4.0 as a contributor to social innovation as a problem-solving tool for a range of societal problems.
