Analysis of ELCr by Mitigating Harmonic Disortions for a Hybrid Hydro-Electric Network

Abstract

To mitigate the harmonic distortions in the hydro hybrid system a proposed Electronic Load Controller(ELCr) comprises of rectifier depends on an inverter of a voltage source with a 'DC capacitor link ' connected to an 'Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor(IGBT)’ and also this consists of a  chopper circuit and a dump load.  Examining total harmonic (THD) distortions by the magnitude of voltage output and frequency under distinct load conditions. Matlab software is used to asses the performance of ELCr.
