Self-efficacy as a Constitutive Factor to Build Achievement Motivation

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the significance influence of the leadership of lecturers and self-efficacy of the students on the achievement motivation of the students. The method in this research used a quantitative method which is carried out by distributing questionnaires to the students as respondents then the data obtained is processed and analyzed by path analysis. The results of data processing showed that the influence of leadership of the lecturers on achievement motivation of the student is only one point four percent and the influence of self-efficacy to achievement motivation of the student is eighty four point five percent. The conclusion is that the influence of leadership of the lecturers is not significant on achievement motivation of the students, and the influence of self-efficacy is very significant on achievement motivation of the students. It is why self-efficacy as the constitutive factor to build the achievement motivation shoul be developed the students.
