Abstract

Aim/Purpose:- The prosperity of the organization is depends on employee engagement. A true employee engagement will produce productive results which leads to organization development. Therefore, there are various factors which influence on employee engamenent in the organization they are training and development, career planning, performance appraisal, working conditions, employer supervision, work life balance are the major contributing factors for guniene employee engagement. The smooth and systematic  functioning of the organization will depends ip on the factors of employee engagement.

Methodology/Approach/Design: -  Used structured closed ended questionnaire to collect the data from the respomdents. Conducted pilot study with the help of 50 sample size. The Researcher have taken 550 samples to collect the data from respondents. The Relaibility test conducted through Crone Bach’s Alpha test (>.70).

Outcome:-The outcome of he study revela sthat, the are neumarious factors like: performance measurement, training and development, career development, employee work life balance, management supervison towards employees have shown significant positive relationship towards employee engagement in the organization.

Research Implications:- The research result has much impact on practical context. The outcome of the reseach can be used to enhance the employee work engagement in any industry which helps to accelerate the economic progression of both employees and organization.

Practical Implications:- The outcome of the research will have practical implication in the rela world context of human resource development. The measurement to enhance the employee work engagement will give accurate result under any circumstances.

Social Implications:-  It has much impact on employee development in all aspects which include social and economical development. Apart from this the quality of work lifde of employee also can be enhanced.

Originality/Value :-  It is a novel research work, in the aspects of human resource development practices and employee engagement in transport industry.

Research Type:-  It is an empirical research study along with descriptive research design. The researcher has taken the advantage of both primary and secondary data sources to conduct the research in the area of pilgrimage tourism.
