Effect of Inflation Consumer Price, Import Good and Service and Population in Urban Agglomerations on Corruption
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to examine the relationship between Inflation Consumer Price (ICP), Import Good and Services (IGS), Population in Urban Agglomerations (PUA) on corruption perceptions (CPI). The author uses quantitative research and the variables used are secondary data obtained from Transparency International and the World Bank using data from 12 Pacific Asia Summit countries in 2008-2017. The results of this study indicate that increasing Inflation Consumer Price, Import Good and Services, Population in Urban Agglomerations can reduce the level of corruption perceptions.
