Design of a Dual Shaped E Textile Antenna at 5GHz
Abstract
A Compact wearable textile patch antenna is intended at frequency of 5GHz for Wi-Fi applications with proper slot to form a dual E-shaped. The proposed patch antenna has been devise using conducting fabric with denim as substrate having dielectric constant (ɛr =1.7)with dimensions of dual E- shaped patch as 20X12X0.1mm3. Improvement has been noticed at resonant frequency with -40.3dB return loss having 7.4% bandwidth, 85.4% efficiency which allows faster data transmission with exceptional gain. Simulations for the antenna parameters are evaluated by Computer Simulation Technology (CST) tool.
