Abstract

This paper addresses an approach to create phobia detection environment simulation and object modeling using Augmented Reality. The principal purpose of this paper is to make use of this emerging technology, Augmented Reality (AR) in order to create a real world like environment which exposes the user to his fear by providing an inexpensive approach. The information gathered by exposing the user to the environment can be further used to obtain the factor of phobia by gauging an individual’s responsiveness of intensity to specific type of environment. This environment will be initially implanted with a specific phobia. The further procedures of detection and treatment of the phobia corresponding to that environment can be carried out by exposing the user to the environment. This technique will help an individual to rise above their fears and live healthier and stable life.
