Removal of Chromium and Copper ions from Industrial Wastewater by cross-linked Chitosan/Poly (ethylene glycol)

Abstract

The pollution is universal monster that’s engulfing all the natural resources. Water being the important criteria for sustenance is being valued predominantly. This resource is unmindfully polluted leading to challenging problems. Water effluence receives considerable attention from automated broadcasting and reproduction. Swift industrialization in ranipet district partakes contaminated the palar river. The blends were characterized using FT-IR, DSC, TGA and XRD. The results reveal that remediation without the recurrence of secondary pollutants is an edge over advantage of this adsorbent.
