The Broader Picture of Usage of Digital Technologies in Management Education

Abstract

Higher Education has reached its new height with the inclusion of digital technologies in it. Technology is drastically changing entire higher education sector of the world. Education transcends all boundaries. With the effective use of digital technology, education is moving from a knowledge-transfer model to a collaborative, active, self-directed and engaging model that helps learners increase their knowledge and cultivate the skills desired to prosper in the “Learning Society”. Education merged with technology has engaged students in learning and broadening their skills.

The aim of the research is to through a light on various digital technologies used in Management Education worldwide today. The primary survey was taken to get an overview about the digital technologies used in the management institutes in Pune, Maharashtra.  Extensive literature review and secondary data research has been conducted to explore the various digital technologies being used in several management education institutes worldwide.
