Abstract

The cryptography provides two basic ideas, such as Encryption and Hash algorithm for security of information. The major role is occupied by Information technology in the society by computers to store, retrieve, transmit, manipulate data or information in the areas of business, government organizations and software enterprises etc. The intruders intending to hack the data from computers are in very high growth in information technology. This paper contains security approach zero knowledge protocol using David Hilbert matrix with hash value. The encrypted message with David Hilbert matrix is appended by hash code using hashing algorithm to confuse the intruders and improve security for the data at rest, transit or both. Generally the ZK protocol is authenticated by the password mechanism only. However the proposed zero knowledge protocol uses only private asymmetric keys along with hash code.
