Optimized Score Based K-Anonymity using Ant Lion Algorithm

Abstract

Research on Location Based Networks is gaining more and more popularity in today’s world focusing on the security and privacy issues. Location Privacy can be achieved by using Anonymization techniques popularly named after k-anonymity. But still in the case of continuous spatial queries, privacy is becoming a problem and there are factors affecting the performance of the network such as node energy, connectivity among the nodes and delay time are also being considered while evaluating the network performance. Swarm Intelligence algorithms work on the principle of decentralized and self-organizing behavior of swarm agents. A lot of research is being carried out in the field of SI Techniques concentrating on solving complex problems. In this paper authors focus on providing privacy to the user by using a score based k-anonymity approach and applies ALO optimization to improve the performance of the cloaked region user by comparing the user nodes with the behavior of the swarm agents.
