A Comparative Study in Various Design for Biomaterials Manufactured by Am Technique and Computational Fluid Dynamics (Cfd) Analysis

Abstract

The present study is centered around the point of contrasting the bone reaction with these two diverse bio materials as far as mending or healing the following surgical crack and histological impacts in bone around the screw. From the static auxiliary investigation, cobalt chromium found to have low twisting when strain follows up on the scaffold structure. The structural simulation is developed by CAD software with the design data exported for fabrication through SLM technology. In this study a twisted design of crossing struts was treated. Two different designs in varying dimensional parameters as width, depth and height strut diameter were used and the designed properties of the structural composition were investigated. From the static structural analysis, metallic material of cobalt chromium was found to have low deformation when load acts on the scaffold structure. With a good range of biocompatibility and nature of non-allergic tissue response, cobalt chrome has an elastic modulus less than that of titanium. It was found that Cobalt chromium implants to have property of bio-compatible. Moreover, titanium material cost more and have low biocompatibility with synovial fluid
