A Review on Aerodynamic Parameters, Methodologies and Suppression Techniques Explored in Aircraft Wing Flutter
Abstract
Wing flutter is a very complex area that needs a deep knowledge and understanding of different other branches of aeronautics to get unclouded and precise understanding of it. In this paper a deliberate effort was made to get the essence of different researches that studied influence of various parameters that excite or depress flutter phenomenon. Once a good idea of the parameters that influence flutter is gained, it paves the path to find a way to get rid of this undesirable situation. So, along with parameters, an attempt is also made to get a good idea of different techniques that were explored to suppress aircraft wing flutter. Finally a clear a vision of different variables that impact flutter and techniques that were tested to suppress flutter with their efficiency will be discussed.
