4QS MODEL TO ASSESS THE STUDENT LEARNING CAPABILITIES

Abstract

Lean principles have been widely used in manufacturing industries with less interest by practitioners to transfer Lean thinking to educational sector. Lean means creating more value for customers with fewer resources, by minimizing waste. The aim of present paper is to emphasize the importance of applying Lean principles in education institutions by using 4QS Model. Removing waste in organizing, preparing and performing teaching process in the teaching & resulting environment by adding value to student learning Process by jugging their performance with proper predication May results in improvements in student result. Researchers who are willing to improve their activities within the class/college/university and teaching process with improvement in result can simply follow the Lean based 4QS Model presented in this paper i.e. (Intelligence, Adversity, Spiritual, Emotional) and thus make research and educational work more efficient and effective in student result by predicating their view of learning & thinking so can improve students’ performance by focusing on their predicted weakness. Lean within an educational sector by using proposed 4QS can benefit both the colleges/University personnel and the student learning process for getting good outcome.
