Eating Habit as a Determinant of Academic Performance

Abstract

Academic performance occupies a predominant position in the studies that deal with the concept of eating habit. Nowadays, students prefer eating junk food as compared to the other food items. Many of us do not realize that the food intake play a major role in the development of brain. Earlier research studies proved the existence of association between dietary items and academic performance. A self designed questionnaire consisting of fifteen questions was employed for the resent study.  Both the primary and secondary source of data was used. The data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistic.  The present study explores the eating habit of students at college (tertiary) level.
