An Approach for Enterprise Data Privacy Using Big Data Analytics

Abstract

Privacy plays a significant role in data security. Privacy cannot be achieved without implementing security. Security mechanisms alone do not guarantee the privacy of data. The sensitive data should be protected from data thefts and frauds. It is a great challenge for any enterprise to protect the confidential and sensitive data from unauthorized users and at the same time to ensure that the actual data is available to legitimate users. This paper focuses on challenges and various aspects of enterprise data privacy and presents its taxonomy. Also paper gives an approach for enterprise data privacy addressing three different problems using big data analytics.
