Abstract

The DSTAT COM in the multi-bus system can decrease the harmonics as well as boosting the voltage regulation. This job deals with the evaluation of Push-Pull and also Voltage Source Inverter based DSTATCOM for the multi-bus device. Eight bus system is modeled using the elements of SIMULINK. The technique is created for eight bus device with DSTATCOM as well as without DSTATCOM. A DSTATCOM is a quick action unit that provides versatile voltage control for sensitive energy compensation. The efficiency of the DSTATCOM depends upon the control technique. So, for this, there are various control techniques available. The paper deals about the novel hysteresis current controller applied to the DSTATCOM for improving the voltage profile by compensating the reactive power.
