Abstract

Fingerprint matching is one of the most efficient and popular biometric methods utilized for determining the similarity between the matching images. This paper will be presenting a new matching technique depending on the relations of topological Neighbors of the objects that matched. Topology is a mathematical field that studies the properties of objects. It is usually focused on features such as size, shape and position. We have performed extensive experiments of the proposed method by using images which are containing a small zone and low fingerprints quality.
