The Impact of Knowledge Management on Creativity of Library Professionals in Public Sector Universities of Pakistan

Abstract

Purpose- The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of knowledge management on creativity of library professionals of Public sector Universities of Sindh province, Pakistan. Knowledge management factors are creation, implementation, storage, sharing as independent variables; dependent variable is creativity of library professionals. This study is descriptive-survey design in the term of data collection. This research is quantitative in terms of implementation method. The population of the study was library professional employees of public sector universities of Sindh province. Sample selection technique was simple random sampling with the sample size of 168 library professionals. Computer software SPSS used to test the data normality and reliability, hypothesis and Klmvgrf- Smirnov test. Its reliability obtained by Cronbach’s alpha that was 0.94 from collected data of respondents. Obtained results show that knowledge creation, implementation, storage and sharing have a meaningful impact on the creativity of employees.
