Multilevel Authenticated Security System Using Fingerprint and Facial Recognition

Abstract

In today’s era security and surveillance plays a vital role. We are proposing multilevel authenticated security system in order to cater high level security and eliminate the systems based on password, RFID which can be misused easily. This study presents security system comprising of two stages. First, scanning the fingerprint, second facial recognition of the authenticated person. The recognition of the face is done using Local Binary pattern Histogram algorithm. Image of the person is captured if the fingerprint doesn’t match and is sent to the users mail-id using open source computer version python programming.
