Cluster based Scheduling Approach for SDN with Edge Computing

Abstract

In dynamic resource management, there is a demand for communicating the data with minimum delay among various devices in IoT systems.  Such limitations can be overcome by the advancement of cluster based technique. In this scenario, edge computing (EC) is the key design to make optimal decisions. We propose the cluster based earliest deadline first (EDF) scheduling technique to improve the success ratio during the overload condition of wireless sensor nodes. Then, after cluster formation, the nodes use shortest job first scheduling algorithm for scheduling the data to various nodes. It is used for efficient transmission and the simulation results shows that the degree of parallelization increases the success ratio compared with the other methods.
