Finding User Trust and Honesty In E-Commerce Reviews Using Sentimental Analysis
Abstract
In E-commerce, the one thing we rely on, the most, before performing a trade, is the customer review of a product. E-commerce shopping does not allow customers to get hands-on experience of a product before buying it. Hence, the user must rely on and trust the review of a user that has already bought the product and used it. This aspect of E-commerce brings about a major concern. The level of authenticity and honesty in a customer review must be taken into account before buying a product. Major companies use public review tools to gather product reviews. These ambiguous data take a huge amount of manual processing and time to be analysed manually. But thanks to sentiment analysis, this process of analysing the data for its authenticity can be automated.
