Vehicle Halting by Detection of Alcohol Vapours and Accident Alert System by Using Raspberry pi

Abstract

In present scenario we come to know that more number of accidents happen due to drunken driving. The drunken drivers will be in unstable condition such that they are unable to drive a car. This rash driving creates inconvenience for other passengers on road and also question of life and death for the drunken driver as well as others. In this project, we are coming up with an alcohol detector that which halts the vehicle in the detection of alcohol vapours from the drunken driver’s breath. As well as this project enables the detection of accidents even in normal cases. This project is built in GPS & GSM module that which helps to deliver text message and location of driver to the driver’s relatives as well as highway authorities. In the case of detection of alcohol, a text message is sent regarding alcohol detection. In the case of detection of accident, a text message alert with location will be sent.
