Effective Implementation of AI in Product Development – An Interpretive Structural Model
Abstract
Product development processes like other sectors have been transitioning to adoption of new generation of systems equipped with artificial intelligence. Organizations keen on adopting AI need a robust implementation framework in order to check for key performance indicators on factors critical for their implementation decision. This study aims to determine such critical factors through comprehensive literature review and expert interviews. For these identified factors, we also find significant inter-relationship between them with the help of Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM). The model thus presented in this paper can be used as assistive framework for business decision makers for effective implementation of AI systems in product development processes.
