Optimized and Integrated Road Edge Identification using Machine Learning

Abstract

 Road Edge detection is a fundamental to road safety. In this paper, an exhaustive weather and illumination condition has been tackled. Invisibility due to poor or dark illumination conditions and locating road edges is dealt with in the paper. The following are the modules that are handled: Road Sorting based on illumination conditions. Qualitative and Statistical Distribution of Road Edges AND creation of a compact Road Image. The Image can used to understand the Road edge. This concept can be used in self-driving cars.
