Challenges in processing semantic web queries

Abstract

Semantic web is a budding technology that facilitates users to create their data stores in the web. It allows users to build vocabularies and rules over the web. A diverse population of community is working in the vicinity of Semantic web and its associated filed. For the researchers in this field, a lot of challenges arise in handling the huge volume of data due to the bulk increase in the web pages and its contents day to day. They employ different methodologies in solving those issues and still more challenges exist in daily work of the Semantic web research community. In this paper, a review of challenges faced by the community is addressed. The methodologies employed for handling those issues are also discussed.
