Strategic Proposal to Implement the Digital Transformation
Abstract
This research aimed to propose an improvement plan to implement the digital transformation in a company in the health sector. It was based on the need to improve the clinical management processes provided to patients. The research is of qualitative and quantitative approach, it is applied with descriptive design and deductive method. The sample was 49 subjects. Structured questionnaires, semi-structured interviews and observation were used to collect data. The diagnosis showed that the company does not rely on technology to reduce waiting times and cumbersome procedures that do not favor user attention, nor promote innovation management of its employees. It is concluded that the scientific contribution is the proposal of an improvement plan, based on the implementation of the digital transformation, which will generate a new document management model.
