Autism Spectrum Disorder Prediction System
Abstract
Autism spectrum disorders, a serious developmental disorder that impairs the ability to communicate and interact early in one’s childhood and lasts throughout their life. Though no cure for this disorder is found the symptoms vary widely, which when detected can be helpful in triaging the people who need care. In this project the symptoms are detected using two machine learning algorithms in kids between ages 4 to 11. The algorithms are Linear discriminant Analysis and K nearest neighbors. The characteristics such as attention to detail, attention switching, communication, imagination and social skills are employed as data points for each kid while detecting.
