Guidelines for English Skill Development of the Employees in the International Organizations in Maptaphut Industrial Estate, Rayong Province

Abstract

 The objectives of the study were 1) to study the guidelines for English skill development of the employees in the International Organizations in Maptaphut Industrial Estate, Rayong Province, and 2) to compare the personal factors which were the motivations for English skill development of the employees. The samples used in the study were the employees working for the international companies in Maptaphut Industrial Estate, Rayong Province. The research instruments used to collect the data were questionnaires with 225 samples/respondents. The statistics used to analyze the data were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and One-way ANOVA: Scheffe. The results of the study revealed that the motivations and guidelines for the English skill development of the employees in the international organizations in Maptaphut Industrial Estate, Rayong Province as a whole were at a high level. And it was found that the motivations were in accordance with the guidelines for listening, speaking, reading, and writing skill development of the workers.
