Abstract

This article discusses peer-assisted learning (PAL) that aims to develop a teaching process in agricultural machinery study. The difficulty of the learning process in agricultural machinery is commonly due to a lack of peer support/stimulation, equipment, and duration. Under teaching by only one teacher was imprecise and could not complete the curriculum. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of using PAL for assisting the teacher. The study was completed by forty-five students (29 are females); after 12 weeks of the study revealed that with PAL, students are more confident in learning and practicing all agricultural devices. Both sections are no significant difference and acquire very good scores in their overall views.
