On the Possibility for Flotation Processing of Gold-Containing Raw Materials Using Composite Reagents
Abstract
The results of laboratory studies for sulfhydryl collectors and composite reagents during the flotation of gold minerals are presented. The effectiveness of the use of composite reagents CC-1, CC-2, CC-3 as a collector was studied. The results obtained confirm that the use of composite reagents enables to increase the gold extraction in concentrate in comparison with the indicator achieved with the use of basic collectors – butyl xanthate and aeroflot. It was found that the maximum performance is observed during the flotation of gold ore using CC-3 as a collector: the extraction and gold content of the concentrate increases by 10-13.7%, the reagent consumption decreases by 30-33%. When flotation of the factory flotation tailings concentration of gold ore, the use of a composite reagent, compared with the basic mode, can increase the gold extraction in rough gold-bearing concentrate obtained from flotation tailings by 4.25%.
