The Pregnancy Experience on Adolescence

Abstract

Adolescence pregnancy which occurs on women age 10-19 years old is extremely risky for the mother and her baby. WHO in 2011 globally recommends each country to do all efforts necessary to decrease early marriage under 18 years old, create understanding, support, and sexual education to press the number of pregnancy occurance in adolescence of ≤20 years old, optimize the usage of contraception tool, decrease sexual harassment on adolescents, press risky abortion occurance and maximize the employment of skillful health labors in ANC treatment and pascanatal treatment among adolescent mothers. The method in compiling this scoping review used was the guidelines of Arksey and O 'Malley. Based on the 7 articles, it was found that women who are pregnant at  ≤19 years oldhave higher risk to their health, social and education, both for mother and her baby. The factors influencingadolescence pregnancy are such as doing sex earlier, the degradation of contraception usage, the low level ofeducation, high poverty, and lack ofknowledge. The method canprevent marital on the adolescencesuch ashealth’s education and promotion in the sex education programs. The themes found in this review are the effect of pregnancy in adolescent, the influence factors and the method of preventing adolescence pregnancy.
