A Study on Role of Infrastructure towards Gross Domestic Product in India.

Abstract

This research article studies and shows the impinge of infrastructure on overall production in India. The predominant question that arises here is “whether the infrastructure plays a key role for economic production or not”.  In order to summarize the whole structure of this article, the research work can be segregated into 5 sections. The 1^st section deals with the conceptual framework, the 2^nd section represents a brief review of the econometric method and next the 3^rd section describes the variables and relevant data sources along with the results of unit root tests. The 4^th section shows the empirical results and also includes the empirical analysis of the estimate.  Finally, the 5^th section correlates the analysis of impulse responses followed by conclusions based on the analysis.
