STRUCTURAL AND AERODYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF ANTENNA- RADOME SYSTEM FOR AIRBORNE APPLICATION

Abstract

Radome is the structural part which is located in the nose section of aircraft and also other applications where the electromagnetic transmission is taking place. During the flight condition radome under changing in their structural part as well as their aerodynamic performance. In in project, Radome is analysed using ANSYS.The structure is designed using MATlab Code and analysed. Structural analysis is carried out with and without Radome.As a result the Structure with radome is having less equivalent stress and less total displacement. The performance of lift, Drag and pressure distribution is analysed in FLUENT for the structure with radome.
