PUBLIC OPINION ON HOMOSEXUALITY

Abstract

                 Most of the people believe that homosexuality is a unnatural and itself a source of negative psychological effects. Most of the places in our society does not accept the homosexuality persons. So they protest against the surroundings to get recognition from the society .homosexuality is also a sexual orientation and it is caused by a genetic, hormonal ad environmental influences. In this research paper we can understand the homosexuality and examine the difference in the mean score of agreeability towards the promotion of homosexuality. For the purpose of this study is descriptive research is used to portray the public opinion on homosexuality in Chennai. There is a significant difference in the mean score of agreeability towards the promotion of homosexuality. Convenient sampling method is used to collect the samples.  1540 Samples is the sample size. Independent variables are educational qualifications, marital status, age. Independent sample test is tools are Independent sample  test,chi square, and ANOVA. The researcher concluded that the behaviour patterns of homosexuality could be recognised in our society.
