Determinants of user’s satisfaction on public e-auctionary: a case study in dki jakarta, indonesia*

Abstract

E-auction defined as public auctionary held by indonesian government using the internet network system and computer equipment that allows the auction is executed without the attendance of auction’s participants. E-auction is one of public services implemented based on information technology to increase the quality of public service. This research aims to to test empirically the effect of information clarity, system security, system stability, and interactive service to user’s satisfaction, in this case is auction’s participants, in order to give considerations in the future development programs related to the implementation of public electronic auction in indonesia through e-auction both in terms of policy and information system infrastructures. This research uses independent variables which are information clarity, system security, system stability, and interactive services. Then, dependent variables are satisfaction of users (auction’s participants). This study is based on data population of e-auction’s participants held by state assets and auction service office (kantor pelayanan kekayaan negara dan lelang) dki jakarta, a regional office of directorate general state asset management (dgsam), ministry of finance, that has working area in dki jakarta. This research was done from 2015 to 2017. A total number of data samples that used in this research reach 109 respondents. This research uses primary data that come from questionnaires' research filled by auction’s participants. Research’s method uses quantitative method with multiple regression analysis. Results of this research show that variables information clarity, system stability, and interactive services have positive affect significantly to the satisfaction of auction’s participants. Then variable system security has no effect on the satisfaction of auction’s participants.
