Abstract

The modern business environment is the competition environment. This is done by enhancing the company's market position or by increasing profits in addition to increasing adaptation and compatibility with the surrounding environment of the company. Relying on this, some changes have begun to emerge in the mechanisms and methodologies of work. Among these processes: the Business Process Reengineering (BPR) process, which can be defined as a process of fundamental review and restructuring of business processes in order to better raise the level of important and modern performance indicators. The potential opportunities for BPR include information technology (IT). IT allows for significant improvements to BPR, although it is not the only one. Hence this paper came to explain and clarify the importance of information technology in one of the most prominent mechanisms and methodologies in the work environment. Where companies simplify their tasks, rebuild and design their organization, as well as the way to change their work, with major improvements using many tools, including information technology.
