Abstract

For any organisation to have an eminent innovation the practices of knowledge management plays an important role. This paper works towards the function of knowledge management practices in firm’s innovation performance. The paper evaluated the literature linking to knowledge management and firm innovation in concern to observe the relation to which it relates the two. This article persuades qualitative methodology using conceptual relationship which enhanced by the interpretation extracted from the acute literature review. The results state that out of six knowledge management practices, the five immense practices give rise to innovation that is; training and mentoring, policies and strategies, leadership, reward system and communication. As well as in order to encourage the firm innovation the study focuses on the most important knowledge management practices that the organisation need to develop it. In scheming knowledge management practices to achieve advance and efficacy innovation performance of the firm, the professionals and the managers may take the relevant benefits from this research.
